Haji Syed Salman Chishty
o is the 26th Generation Gaddi-Nashim of the Dargaah Ajmer Sharif - the Sufi shrine of the 11th Century Sufi Grand Master Teacher Hz. Khawaja Moinudeen Hasan Chishty (R.A.). His passion towards the mystic cultures of the world has enabled him to travel across various Sufi destinations, where he participated in International conferences on spirituality, as well as conferences at Harvard University, and Johns Hopkins University. He has been heading the Chishty Foundation– Ajmer Sharif as the Managing Trustee and Chairman for the past 9 years, of which he is also the founding member. He has written articles on Islamic spirituality, Sufism, spiritual understandings, interfaith dialogues, and related subjects, for various newspapers, journals, publications, blogs, and websites. With a deep interest in sacred Sufi photography, he developed his special artistic line of Sufi Musafir photography works, which is now being regularly featured and exhibited across galleries and exhibitions.
