Tehseen Zaidi, a veteran Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Specialist, has navigated the intricate landscapes of journalism, PR, and advocacy communications, with a finesse born of experience, and a passion for working on women empowerment, diversity, equity, and inclusion. She is dedicatedly working on it, it gives me a sense of accomplishment to see a shift in the mindset. Today, she finds herself at the helm of strategic communication at Syngenta India Pvt Ltd, an organisation actively supporting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the workplace. Her work here is not just about crafting messages, but also working closely with small holder farmers. Her organisation strongly supports diversity, equity and inclusion at the workplace, she works on it passionately to bring in a new energy and perspective. Beyond corporate success, my journey has a social pulse. She is a staunch supporter of women’s and children’s rights, gender equality, diversity and inclusion. She actively partakes in panels and events focused on these issues, such as the International Women’s Day Special event by Agriculture Today. She is also the recipient of several awards, such as Best Communications Professional at the Powerful Women Awards 2024. While awards and accolades do mark milestones, the true pleasure in her journey has been the opportunity to mentor and help colleagues, especially women, grow in their respective careers. After all, it is a balanced sense of belongingness and responsibility that makes any professional journey worthwhile.
